One way of learning is to do tutorials, do as many as tutorials as you can! I haven’t had time lately but I’ve set a new goal to do at least one a week. This one I found online you can check it out here (Create a Lost Fantasy Micro World with Powerful Photo Manipulation Techniques in Photoshop). I used the techniques from that tutorial to make a image of my own, I came away with a lot of great techniques from this tutorial. I would suggest you try it out and see what you can come up with.

Back To School !?

Since graduating Seneca @ York for graphic design, I’ve been busier then I could have ever imagined. But with all the work and running around, I’ve found that I really really miss school. I don’t know what happened to me while in my graphic design program but I’m happiest when I’m learning new things. So a few months back I started looking for night school programs, I ended up finding a lot of courses that I wanted to take. The only problem was most of them happened to be online courses. Now I have nothing against online courses, I just know in my case that if I had to do it online I wouldn’t learn a thing. I would end up just watching TV or firing up the X-Box. I finally came across a photography course at Humber, it was how to set up and use lighting. A part of photography that I would easily consider my weak spot, I hope by the end of the program I’ll have a better understanding on how to set up studio lighting instead of shooting and hoping for the best.
